Bouquet < Association of young women with an ostomy >
Bouquet is a voluntary association of young women with an ostomy in Japan. Since the first five members met and started their activity in 1999, Bouquet has been encouraging members to provide and share various information regarding women's life with an ostomy. We hope your problems and concerns can be solved through the interaction with other members.
Activity
Bulletin, Publication
> Newsletters which include members posting and a lot of information related ostomy, and short information sheets which provide expected events announcement. Both bulletins are sent in three times a year.
Website, mailing list
> Our renewed website shows tips for life with an ostomy, FAQ, and BBS. Members only mailing list allows timely chatting about concerns and advice.
Meetings, luncheon
> Bouquet hosted meetings and luncheon were previously held in Tokyo, Nagoya, Kyoto, Osaka, Kobe and Okayama. Sometimes smaller meetings called 'Petit Bouquet' are held by some members.
Minibreaks
> One-day trips or overnight trips were previously held.
Research
> Biennial questionnaire are sent to members to investigate their needs.
